“Be a Friend”
Wed. Kids Lock-in
Wednesday’s Kids 2007 annual lock-in theme was
“be-a-friend”: based on the story of the
good Samaritan.
For 20 hours straight we lived the Scripture together—visiting the Faribault Aquatic Center,
going on a be-a-friend scavenger hunt, cooking together, sharing around the
campfire with stories and songs all based on teaching us to be the kinds of
friends Jesus would like us to be—the kind of friend Jesus is to us. We’re grateful to the donors who helped sponsor
this and other Wed. Kids events and the adult and youth leaders. Below are a few pictures of the group at the
aquatic center.
